Just a glimpse of the first week in Parry Sound. The first is the view from the breakfast table. The second picture is Annie's typical position on my bed while I work on the book (next photo). Then we have Annie's typical position while I workout, cook, clean cupboard's etc. :D She is great at sleeping! So I am the serious clean sweep gal, with a before and after - just a glimpse of the house transformation that is to come!

Some photos that capture the Foundations of Adventure course I taught last week at Briercrest (plus 2 favourites from the Outdoor Skills & Theory I course in August). This course was truly adventurous as we all entered in "wide-eyed and wholehearted...seeking to do utmost with our head, heart and hands".

Here are some photos of my fun new year's eve. The first friends are Martha and Jeff, then our evening party hosts, Danny and Darla (and no, they are not standing on a stool - I'm learning I'm short!). Next is Keith in the center with Danny and I, and then me with Deb and Celo. We had an amazing supper at Dale and Galen's (left) with Eric, Kate and Erin Ortlund and Jeff and Martha. I had been feeling rather displaced, but last night I felt I had a place in the lives of these friends and that made for a great entry into the new year!
